Watch reviews

The cpmmunity considers this watch the GOAT, but I have my thoughts. Yes, it is fantastic for the price you pay: 7 yr battery, 3 BAR water resistance which has been proved to hold even more than that. An absolute beater, cmfortable and easy to use. My two downs are the strap, which is very clamsy and will break soon, and the backlight wich is very bad. Besides from that is a great watch. There are better models than this one as a beater, like W...

I would rate it like the perfect office watch. GADA design and high comfort. The backlight is much better than many other vintage Casios, maybe excepto for the A168 wich is amazing. Suits very well on medium to small wrists, it is very easy to dress, very minimalistic look and is a strap monster as well. Highly recommendable, you get a lot for what you pay. ...

It has become one of my two favorite Casios (The other one is the A168) because of so many reasons: Amazing design and originality Perfect size for all wrists Timeless, classic and iconic Funcionality is superb 10 yr battery, Unbeatable for the price 10 BAR Water resistance! Wears fantastico with almost anything. You can't go wrong with this watch at all. Highly recommendable. ...

I own this watch for some time already and has not disappointed in any way. Extremely comfortable, light, shinny and ready for any ocasion. Shcool, office and even some semi-formal events. It holds more water resistance than suggested, but still dont take too much risk. It is dressy and very affordable. The backlight is amazing and it wears so good because of it's very slim profile. . Ideal for medium to smaller wrists. Highly recommendable. ...

The perfect GADA or EDC watch to take to the office, school, casual, or smimply staying at home. Reliable, long lasting battery, comfortable, timeless piece. Higly recommendable. ...

The Casioak. The only hype watch I have ever purchased. I have let it go since, and there is one main reason for that besides just getting bored of it long term, which happened also. The digital subdial. Completely inadequate, useless, disappointing, frustrating and other matching phrases to continue. The problem with the digital screen is legibility. You can barely see it with young, healthy eyes; forget about reading it properly once you're in t...

The Seiko Turtle. My God. I believe it is my favourite Seiko. So, reader, be cautious, my review of the Seiko Turtle will be completely corrupted and biased. To offset that a little bit, I must also state that I do not own this watch any longer, I have parted with it. Why, you ask? Well, as they say it, I was young and needed the money. But seriously, there were some issues. I’ll be happy to talk about the issues. Let’s do exactly that. My ve...

The Casio A168W series is, in my opinion, the default choice not only for buying a Casio, but also for buying (or gifting) your first watch. The F91W is a great watch, it was the choice of the president of United States (way back when) and for the leader of Al-Qaida (way back when), so it is a pretty cool watch, but lets face it, it is a little bit boring afterall. Small black resin case, little digital screen, unimaginary black resin strap...it ...

The Casio duro. A watch loved by enthusiast and one that gained legendary status for a good reason. Learning about its dimensions for the first time, especially before trying it on can be quite scary. It looks awesome, rewiewers sang songs and ballads about its robustness and value for money propositions, and altough it is very reminiscent of the copied to the gates of boredom Rolex Submariner, it is an original watch, from a proper, highly likea...

Positive Points So right up the bat this is a very striking watch. The dial has a very interesting pattern of blues that catch the light in interesting ways and change how the dial appears. As well as the dial the case is beautifully finished with some nice polishing on the edges and brushed surfaces. The bezel has some very nice beveling on the edge and the bezel is a nice steel one. All of which gives the Watch a toolish aesthetic while still...

The Casio G-Shock GW-M5610U The classic G square. Cool, historically significant design you can never get bored of. Insanely pragmatic and functional tool watch, providing its wearer with all the important complications, priced in the tens of thousands elsewhere, mainly world time, day and date, alarm, stopwatch, countdown timer. On-the-dot accuracy due to the atomic timekeeping, which makes sure not only that you're never late from anywhere, but...

For starters, I would like to note that Laco is one of my favourite watchmakers out there. They have a truly rich and interesting history, they can be listed amongst the high and luxury watchmakers such as Lange or IWC due to producing the same products for the same buyer in the same historical timeline, which is awfully cool in my opinion, and they remained true to their origins, selling affordably priced watches to cover the needs of many watch...

This watch is without a doubt my favourite diver so far, and as a dive watch fan that's really saying something. I've been put off skeletonisation in my watches as I feel this often makes them hard to read, but because of the blue sapphire dial this one is very legible. Speaking of the dial it's truly gorgeous, fans of blue dials will love that deep blue and the fact that the movement is visible but muted underneath only adds to the depth of the ...

Design & AestheticsThe Seiko Speedtimer SSC911 immediately catches the eye with its classic panda dial-crisp white with deep black subdials, accented by vibrant red chronograph and 6 o’clock hands. These pops of color add personality and make the watch stand out. The sunray finish and applied indices, along with Seiko’s LumiBrite, ensure excellent visibility in any light. The overall look is sporty and refined, making it a versatile choic...

The Laco Aachen 39 is a modern take on a classic pilot’s watch, and it stands out with a ton of character and instant recognizability. Laco’s history as one of the original manufacturers of WWII Flieger watches gives this model a genuine lineage, and the Aachen 39 wears that heritage proudly with its Type B dial, bold Arabic numerals, and luminous hands and markers. The 39mm case size is versatile, offering a strong wrist presence without ove...

After watching reviews on Youtube, Reddit, Watchcrunch, and the likes..finally got this piece. As stated in most reviews, it is the best value for a GMT. Purchased this for less than SRP with the added discounts from our local AD's website. As for the wear, I would say it is the better bracelet compared to my SRPK31. The Jubilee bracelet is more comfortable and looks better in my opinion. As I have family living abroad, the GMT was definitely a n...

As much as I would love to love this watch, it is definitely overpriced for its value. This is a watch I share with my husband and we decided to change the original straps to the new strap they released. The original straps made the watch look more toy-like. It is definitely a beautiful watch but since the watch is unserviceable, it is definitely not a watch for long-term. It is a great watch to wear from time to time but not for everyday. Since ...

As a kid in the early 2000's, I remember Baby G and G shocks as my first watches for school. I wore them until the bands broke. Now as an adult, I've finally got my hands on a new and more modern version of the G shock I grew up with, the Casio Oak. I was gifted this watch from my Mother-in-Law for my birthday this year and it is very special to me. I wear it when I'm at home or going out for a hike. It is perfect for all my casual outfits. My to...

Really nice watch that I keep for smart occasions. I do have more expensive watches in my colections but this fits under a cuff really well and looks a lot more than it costs to be honest. I've got both a leather and the bracelet and I must say, I keep it on the bracelet when I do wear it. It doesn't have any of the on-the-fly- adjustment that we crave more and more for these days, but it's not a daily wear in my opinion so it suits me just fine....

I love the way it feels on my wrist. The bracelet is amazing and it s everything and more all the reviews say about it. It’s a pretty thick watch but I’m used to that and it doesn’t bother me. I bought it just after the new BB GMT was released as I was concerned this may be mothballed by Tudor as I had my eye on one for a few years and got a great deal to get one new and I couldn’t be happier. I already own another Tudor which was a gift,...
