I'm a Wife and Mama. I spend way too much time researching on a watch before a purchase. So this site is perfect for me. I post my daily wristchecks on Watch Crunch! @Tafs_Seikology

As much as I would love to love this watch, it is definitely overpriced for its value. This is a watch I share with my husband and we decided to change the original straps to the new strap they released. The original straps made the watch look more toy-like. It is definitely a beautiful watch but since the watch is unserviceable, it is definitely not a watch for long-term. It is a great watch to wear from time to time but not for everyday. Since it is made out of plastic, it is best to be careful when wearing it. I recommend this watch to someone who has other watch options and not as a one-watch collection. Also highly suggest to buy the watch on retail or lower from Ebay. Never buy it more than the retail :-)

As a kid in the early 2000's, I remember Baby G and G shocks as my first watches for school. I wore them until the bands broke. Now as an adult, I've finally got my hands on a new and more modern version of the G shock I grew up with, the Casio Oak. I was gifted this watch from my Mother-in-Law for my birthday this year and it is very special to me. I wear it when I'm at home or going out for a hike. It is perfect for all my casual outfits. My toddler also loves the pop of color. The world timer also makes it easy to set with the choice of summer time and not. The alarm, timer, and stopwatch are also very practical. I've used this more than my diver watch since I've had it since it is more comfortable to wear all day. Unfortunately , resin straps are my least favorite so I wish I could change it to something more comfortable. Although it's a personal choice as I'm someone who prefers a bracelet or a leather band. It is very good value for money as it is always on sale on Amazon or the local department store. I believe everyone should own a G shock! :-)

I recevied this watch as a gift from my husband. It was my first automatic watch and the watch that introduced me to the hobby. For a few months, I wore it everyday to the point that I stopped wearing my Apple Watch. I used it to time almost everything and anything~laundry, cooking, my child's nap times, when I go for walks, etc., it was my daily beater. But it got heavy overtime, also the bracelet is not comfortable too. There was no right size for my small wrist (15.5cm/6.1in). I learned to change the straps and it is so much better with a NATO or a rubber/leather strap depending on the look I want. I still use it sometimes as I am too lazy to reset the time when it stops. I have also noticed that it looses about 30 to 60 seconds per week, which would annoy me. I am keen with accuracy so this was a bit disappointing. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an automatic tool watch of the size. It is great value for money.
