Brand - Cartier
Initially a jewelry house, Cartier expanded its repertoire to include watches, setting the standard for haute horlogerie. Throughout its illustrious history, Cartier has achieved numerous milestones, including the creation of the iconic Santos de Cartier watch in 1904, designed for aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, and the introduction of the Tank watch in 1917, inspired by the silhouette of military tanks. These timeless designs have cemented Cartier's reputation as a pioneer in watchmaking, combining exquisite craftsmanship with innovative design. Cartier's commitment to innovation is further exemplified through its development of the revolutionary mystery clock in 1912, featuring floating hands that appear to move without any visible mechanism. Today, Cartier continues to captivate with its timeless creations, offering a range of watches that embody sophistication, luxury, and impeccable craftsmanship, making them coveted symbols of prestige and refinement.

This timepiece was and still is my grail. And on my birthday this year, I finally got it. It is, in my opinion, the most true-to-value watch that Cartier offers. It is in between the Panthere and Santos de Cartier. I've always preferred wearing my watches on a strap rather than a bracelet and the Santos Dumont has it. The strap is also buttery smooth. I wear it when I go out and it just makes every outfit look great. It is both dressy and sporty at the same time. It is also very lightweight and thin, making it very comfortable to wear all day. I also prefer quartz as it is more accurate with time keeping and servicing will not cost me an arm or leg. Lol but all in all, I love this watch.
