In the early 20th century, the brand became synonymous with railroad watches, supplying accurate timepieces to railway companies across the United States. Hamilton further solidified its reputation during World War II when it shifted its focus to producing military watches for the Allied forces, earning accolades for its reliability and durability. Over the years, Hamilton has continued to innovate, introducing iconic timepieces such as the Ventura, the world's first electric watch, and the Khaki Field collection, inspired by military designs.

Great watch but it could be better. This is a better version of the classic Khaki field watch.
The thing that I most wish was better is the anti-reflective coating if it has any. As it is you could almost use it as a mirror. It also doesn’t help that the markers and hands have a muted color. They look very cool but it does affect the legibility a bit. Would I change that? I’m not sure…
Other than that, great watch, a great design, nicely done brushing with pops of polished material on the bezel and the edges of the center links on the bracelet. It's not too tool-y, which I like.
It's also a great dressy watch if you pair it with a nice leather strap. The bracelet build quality is great, a lot better than the Khaki field in my opinion. It has a quick release and a nicely milled clasp. It lacks quick micro adjustment which is becoming a standard nowadays.
For me, it's still a great watch but I can understand if you’d be reluctant to get it.
